U.S. Bank TPRM Planning Credible Challenge Analyst in Honolulu, Hawaii
The Planning Credible Challenge Analyst will review and approve initial planning documentation for all new third party relationships, including cost benefit analysis, strategic alignment and inherent risk identification, as well as analysis of the third party inventory to determine redundant services/relationships or opportunities for shared third party relationships. In addition, they will review and approve modifications to existing third party relationships, including identification of changes that impact the level of risk in the relationship. The review and approval will be facilitated through analysis and credible challenge of the Initial Planning Questionnaire in Archer.
1) Business Knowledge:
a) Ability to learn quickly and understand U.S. Bank enterprise governance risk and compliance programs
b) Understands business ethics concepts and has knowledge of company policies and procedures
c) Strong strategic and enterprise project management experience that will contribute toward the success of our Third Party Risk Management initiatives
d) Solid analytical skills with the ability to review and analyze information and challenge when risks are present; investigative nature
e) Problem solving skills to offer creative solutions related to third party selection
f) Proficient at learning computer applications and thinking outside the box to build reports, data mine and analyze static information
g) Coordinates and/or participates in special task forces to identify and respond to business line needs
h) Ability to develop strong relationships with business lines and TPRM business partners
i) Effective written and oral communication practices, and the ability to tailor communications to the audience level of understanding
2) TPRM Fundamentals:
a) Primary knowledge of the TPRM process, policy and procedures is preferred
b) Understand roles and responsibilities for First, Second and Third Lines of Defense
c) Primary knowledge of the Archer eGRC platform is preferred
d) Adept at processing information quickly and willingly to embrace change
e) Risk management experience
f) Demonstrates general knowledge of the laws and regulations governing TPRM, including BSA, GLBA, and OCC Bulletin 2013-29.
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Five to seven years of experience in an applicable risk management environment
Applicable professional certifications
• Experience in vendor management, internal audit, compliance, and/ or regulatory functions
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business analysis, project management, research, and/or analytical roles
• Self- driven, high attention to detail
• Strong relationship management skills
• Strong project management, negotiation and strategic planning skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Third party (vendor) risk management experience
• Expertise in Regulatory compliance, Information security, Risk management frameworks.
• Financial Services' audit and regulatory background
• Technological skills, including Archer eGRC and MS Office Suite
