Job Purpose:Responsiblefor executing recruiting strategies to deliver suitable candidates for assigned positions. Assists in initiating the hiring process and screening qualified candidates for job opportunities. Knowledge in sourcing, relationship management, and hiring trends.

  • Determine applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications

  • Source, screen, and contact high value candidates by phone and email

  • Proactively search for candidates using technologies and tools (e.g. social media, niche web sites and fee-based databases)

  • Act as a primary point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process

  • Inform candidates about the job and the company

  • Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes

  • Post openings in newspaper advertisements, with professional organizations, and in other position appropriate venues

  • Use independent judgment and interviewing skills foundation to select and place contract candidates on contract assignments

  • Maintain a strong awareness of the market and trends and collaborates with Na Aliʻi to achieve goals and recommend ways to innovate and improve the recruitment process.

  • Treat candidates in a professional manner and ensure that all business is conducted while demonstrating integrity and fairness

  • Pipeline activities for "hard to fill" roles or for roles that the company is regularly searching for

  • Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance to fill open positions

  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive recruiting

  • Identify difficult job vacancies and investigates the best recruitment approach for them

  • Maintain high ethical standards and confidentiality

Skills/Qualifications: Self-Motivated and Self-Monitoring, Exceptional Oral and Written Communications, Detail Oriented.

Education and Experience:This position requires 2 + years of related IT recruiting experience and a degree from an accredited institution preferred. HR experience a plus. Strong Computer skills and experience with social media are preferred.
