Company:Hawaii Medical Service Assn.Job Title:Implementation CoordinatorExempt or Non-Exempt:ExemptIsland:OahuCity:HonoluluLocation:HonoluluEmployment Type:Full TimeJob Summary:Coordinates and manages the implementation lifecycle activities of the BCIS (Business Configuration & Implementation Services) department including department initiatives, select BAU activities and small to large department projects, and leads department workgroups during corporate projects.The Implementation Coordinator shall work closely with the initiative, ISS, or BAU work owner/stakeholders and department staff to coordinate implementation activities from initiation to closure.Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinates, leads, and facilitates to completion the BCIS implementation lifecycle activities of all Owner/Stakeholders, Analysts, Specialists and Test Leads involved in the implementation lifecycle, including, but not limited to Project/Initiative:
Planning and analysis;
Deliverable stakeholder approvals;
Unit, integration, and system/user acceptance testing;
Defect and issue tracking and resolution;
Training and post-implementation activities.
Partners with Business Owners and Project Managers to ensure the thorough execution of the implementation process, including:
Developing strategies for implementation approach, schedule and coordination.
Ensuring the construction, review and modification of implementation plans, requirements, and schedules.
Driving the thorough execution and progress tracking of implementation plans and requirements.
Driving the resolution of issues during the implementation lifecycle
Coordinates, leads and facilitates the system/user acceptance test activities of all Operations Stakeholders, Analysts, Specialists and Test Leads involved in an implementation’s System/User Acceptance Test effort, including:
Confirming with business test leads and analysts the logical integrity of requirements and deliverables, and modifying as necessary.
Identifying and confirming with Business Leads that test scenarios and cases represent critical business test objectives.
Driving the accumulation, storage and management of test data.
Ensuring the execution of appropriate testing to confirm the integrity of new code functionality.
Developing and providing validation methodology to testing staff.
Driving the appropriate evaluation and documentation of test results.
Schedule and facilitate test resource meetings as needed.
Partners with Test and Project Managers to ensure the thorough execution of the test process, including:
Developing strategies, in conjunction with Project and Test Managers, for testing approach, schedule and project coordination.
Ensuring the construction, review and modification of test plans, requirements, and schedules.
Driving the thorough execution and progress tracking of test plans and requirements.
Driving the resolution of issues during test initiation, planning, execution and post-test phases.
Carries out to completion special projects and assignments upon request of the Supervisor; meets regularly with Supervisor to review progress and reestablish priorities.
Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of experience in a business environment, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Understanding of various software testing methodologies
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
