What you’ll be doing...

This position will report into the MILDEPS Government Program Management Office in support of the Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization–Pacific (DITCO-PAC), located in Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, HI. The scope of the position will manage a cross functional team with Program Management responsibility. Anticipated daily activities include: creation of agendas for internal and external meetings, lead internal and external status meetings, capture and distribute meeting minutes, assign action items to appropriate stakeholders, facilitate technical discussions as need, create and manage project plans, manage resource availability.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for local customer support for Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization–Pacific (DITCO-PAC)

  • Collaborate with DITCO-PAC government and civilian administrative and technical staff

  • Plan and distribute work assignments

  • Set objectives and manage the performance to meet the objectives

  • Drives customer solutions

  • Vendor relationship management

  • Interfaces directly with Verizon senior leaders to properly address complex customer requests

  • Perform risk assessments and develop strategic plans to mitigate the risk

  • Monitor support response in regards to Service Level Agreements (SLA) and conduct periodic performance review meetings

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Eligible to obtain and maintain a government security clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant experience

  • Six or more years of Project/Program Management experience within Telecom industry.

  • Six or more years of experience creating, monitoring, and implementing business process.

  • Six or more years of experience managing large projects.

  • Six or more years of experience with direct customer and vendor management

Even better if you have:

  • Master degree from an accredited university in a related discipline (MBA preferred)

  • Fifteen or more years of relevant work experience

  • Ten or more years of Project/Program Management experience within Telecom industry

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)

  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v3

  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)

  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

  • CompTIA A+ or Security+
